The Agglomération Cannes Lérins informs you of the schedule for household waste collection.

Household waste collection :

As collection starts at 7pm, containers must be taken out at 6pm and returned by 8am the following morning at the latest.

Selective sorting :

Collection starts at 6 a.m. Containers must be taken out at 7 p.m. the day before and returned after the morning collection.

Waste collection sites :

To facilitate waste management, the Agglomération Cannes Lérins has set up three waste collection sites (underground containers):

  • Place Charles Dahon
  • Parking Anciens Combattants
  • Esplanade Charles de Gaulle.

Each site is equipped with :
  • A bollard for household waste: bags must be closed before being placed in the bollard.

  • A bollard for selective sorting: recyclable waste must be deposited in bulk in the bollard.

  • A glass bin: glass must not be deposited between 10.00 p.m. and 7.00 a.m., in order to respect the neighborhood.

Container endowment :

In Cannes Lérins, private individuals can benefit from free household waste and/or selective sorting containers, repairs and replacements, by making their request via a contact form on: canneslerins-infotri.fr/dotation-en-conteneurs-et-sacs-de-tri

Bulky goods


A few rules to follow:

  • Just one number: 04 92 97 47 62
  • To make an appointment: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Before you call, please collect the following information:
    - First and last name / Telephone number
    - Your address
    - Access code, if applicable
    - Precise list of bulky items to be dropped off.
  • Once an appointment has been made for the current week, collection will take place on the Thursday of the following week. Bulky goods must be deposited in front of your home the day before, after 6pm.
    For reasons of safety, hygiene and civic-mindedness, it is strictly forbidden to deposit bulky items outside collection days, and will be subject to penalties.
    Items must be grouped by category: wood, scrap metal, including household appliances, sofas and mattresses, to enable technical services to meet waste sorting and recycling obligations.
    Only deposit items declared at the time of registration.

  • ATTENTION: maximum 2m3 per appointment.

Examples of authorized bulky items:

Bulky household items :
  • Bedding: beds, box springs, mattresses...
  • Furniture: tables, chairs, cupboards, sideboards, chests of drawers, bookcases, shelves,
  • Appliances: fridge, freezer, oven/microwave, stove, washing machine...
  • Audio-visual: television, computer...
Household DIY waste
  • Doors, shutters, flooring (carpet, linoleum, parquet), boards...
Garden waste
  • Tools: thermal/electric lawnmower, wheelbarrow, shovel, spade, rake, etc.

Unauthorized waste (deposits at waste collection centers) :

  • Green waste in bulk or large volumes
  • Rubble
  • Vegetable oils and automobiles
  • The lamps
  • Batteries

Green waste


Green waste must be taken to a waste collection center or composted.
Under no circumstances should it be placed in household waste or recycling bins, or on the public highway.
TheAgglomération Cannes Lérins can also supply composters free of charge, subject to a training course lasting around 1 hour.

Shredding plants at home


UNIVALOM has teamed up with La régie de Quartier Soli-Cités, a local player in the solidarity economy, to answer this cumbersome question with this home shredding service. Soli-Cités comes directly to the home to transform branches into shredded material, ready to be recycled.

From March 4, a mobile home shredding service will be available.
