PACS
(Civil Solidarity Pact)

The Pacte Civil de Solidarité (PACS) is a contract between two adults of different sexes, or of the same sex, to organize their life together. It was introduced on November 15, 1999.

Since November 1, 2017, jurisdiction over the registration, modification and dissolution of PACS has been transferred from the tribunaux d'instance to the Mairies. So, if you live in Théoule-sur-Mer and want to get PACSED, it's to the Mairie that you must go!

To register a PACS in Théoule-sur-mer, you must :

Have a common home in Théoule-sur-Mer.

Put together your PACS file including :

  • Joint declaration of PACS registration;
    Download Cerfa form
  • PACS agreement (Cerfa form or plain paper) ;
    Download the Cerfa form
  • A birth certificate less than 3 months old if you were born in France, or less than 6 months old if you were born abroad (translated by a sworn translator);
  • The original and photocopy of your identity document; If you are a foreign national, add :
    - A certificate of custom and/or celibacy issued by the authorities of the country of which you are a national;
    - A certificate of non PACS and a certificate of non registration in the civil register.

To modify a PACS at the Théoule-sur-mer town hall, you must :

Have concluded the PACS at Théoule-sur-Mer Town Hall since November 1, 2017.

Put together your PACS modification file including :

  • Joint declaration of modification of PACS;
    Download Cerfa form
  • PACS amendment agreement ;
    Download the Cerfa form
  • Original and photocopy of your identity card

Make an appointment to register by calling 04 92 97 47 86 or send a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to the Town Hall.

To dissolve a PACS at the Théoule-sur-mer town hall, you must :

To have concluded the PACS at Théoule-sur-Mer Town Hall after November 1, 2017.

Put together your joint dissolution of PACS file, including :

  • A joint declaration of dissolution of PACS;
    Download the form
  • Original and photocopy of your identity card ;

Make an appointment for registration by calling 04.92.97.47.86 or send the whole, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, to the Town Hall or hire a bailiff for a unilateral termination. The latter will notify the civil registrar of the unilateral termination for registration.
